About The Role
We are seeking a Manager of Family Services to lead, manage and develop a team of dedicated social workers. In this role, you will ensure that services are aligned with the Agency’s mission, vision, and values, focusing on client centered care. This position play a vital role in supporting poverty reduction, adult mental health, counselling, and community outreach, while providing clinical supervision to staff.

Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing social work team focused on poverty reduction, mental health, counselling, and outreach.

Oversee caseloads, ensuring equitable distribution and effective client service.

Provide clinical supervision for trauma-informed, evidence-based services.

Utilize best practices and therapeutic modalities with an equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) lens.

Manage program budgets and build partnerships with community agencies.

Contribute to Agency-wide initiatives, representing JF&CS’s mission and values.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field
-
5 years or relevant experience, including management or supervisory experience.

Registered member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) in good standing.

Strong understanding of diverse client needs, particularly in the area of mental health.

Commitment to a client-centered approach, equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Knowledge of diversity, anti-oppression, and anti-racism frameworks and their impact on service delivery.
-
Strong planning and organizational skills.
-
Proficiency in French, Hebrew, or Russian is an asset.
